Our facilities

We have a spacious classroom containing plenty of equipment and space for the children to move around safely.

Outside play

The building is in the grounds of Christ Church, and we have the use of an outside play area, surrounded by trees, which we use for many interesting and varied activities.

We use a wide variety of equipment - most of it unique to the Montessori method - to stimulate the children's curiousity and to encourage them to experiment and learn during their play.

Our Staff

All our staff receive training in the Montessori approach to Early Years education and hold a recognised childcare qualification or are actively working towards one.

All staff hold a current certificate in Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Children (Child Protection). It is pre-school policy to encourage staff to continue their professional development by attending a variety of relevant courses provided by the Early Years and Child Care Service, Montessori Centre International and other reputable training providers.
